- We are a small boutique bakery with a high demand. Therefore, we need as much lead time as you can provide. For most cakes, one months notice will be sufficient. For wedding cakes, however, it's never too early! Four to six months is ideal. If you have a last minute request, feel free to contact us. If we can fit you in, we will. Please note that we require all orders to be paid in full 30 days prior to delivery date.
- Every cake that goes out the doors of Crazy Cakes is custom made to fit your specific needs. Because of this, it is impossible for us to offer a set price list. Your final price will be influenced by your choice of flavors, your specific design needs, your structure requirements, special effects, and the number of hours we will spend creating your unique cake. Please note that we have a $250 minimum for non-sculpted cakes and a $400 minimum for sculpted cakes.
- Standard delivery within a 30-mile radius is $50.00
- Deliveries beyond the 30-mile radius will be charged on a per mile basis.
- The next step in the process is to complete our Order Form. Once we have your information, we will call you to arrange a tasting. You may select up to 3 flavors from our Menu to sample. In order to assure only legitimate inquiries, we charge a small fee of $25 for our tastings. This fee will be deducted from your order, if you choose to order your cake through Crazy Cakes.
- Not everyone has the ability to look at a stack of cakes and "see" the dragon or snake, or whatever your imagination can conjure up! We pride ourselves on our ability to carve your dreams out of cake. Having said that, it's a bit more difficult to judge just how much cake we will need to carve away. Sculpted cakes are priced per serving BEFORE carving. While we will do our best to meet your serving requirements, we cannot guarantee the exact number of servings that will need to be carved away, and, therefore, we cannot guarantee the number of servings left after carving. In some cases, you will end up with a bit more cake than you asked for, and in some cases, a bit less.
- A 50% deposit is required to hold the booking date.
- The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to delivery.
- A 50% deposit is due at the time of the order to secure your date. The balance of the payment is due 30 days prior to your delivery/pick-up date. If you fail to pick up your order, you are still responsible for the remaining balance. If a cancellation is necessary, please note that the 50% deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
